Using stereolithographic parts as master models, FORMKON is able to supply prototypes or minor series of parts moulded in polyurethane using silicone dies.
This method produces parts with physical properties similar to those of plastic or rubber. It is possible to produce several component castings: hard/hard - hard/soft - soft/soft.
FORMKON has specialised in manufacturing parts with excellent finishes. By means of our new patented production method, FORMKON can also manufacture parts which are not normally manufactured due to the limited possibilities of making stereolithographic parts.
Polyurethane parts can be delivered in 10-15 working days.
This casting method is suited especially for smaller quantity of parts, or for larger parts where other, too costly, casting methods would be required.
