3D modelling is carried out on our Pro-Engineer workstations. All the parts are joined in assemblies in which collision and function are continuously tested. This 3D modelling process ensures that all the parts are ripened for production in terms of die technique and subsequent assembly work.
Following 3D modelling, FORMKON offers the customer to manufacture the prototypes in either plastic or metal. This phase is extremely important since prototypes allow the customer to test his product and approve it prior to investing in manufacturing systems and tools.
Prototypes may be manufactured for other reasons as well, including: mechanical tests, exhibitions/fairs, sales material, market research, construction of production lines, etc.
