With our new Quick Die concept you can get real die cast prototypes in just 4-6
weeks.
Quick Die parts are produced in a die casting process using die casting alloys.
Therefore parts are identical to the series production and can be used for
market introduction and are perfect for carrying out reliable field tests.
Some facts about Quick Die:
- Delivery time: 4-6 weeks
- Material: Magnesium, Aluminium and Zinc
in die casting alloys
- Max. dimensions: 1600 t clamping force
- Tolerances: GTA 14
- Series: 10-2.000 pieces
Quick Die offers some of the following advantages:
Quicker market introduction
With our Quick Die concept the timeframe from prototyping to market introduction
is reduced. Our prototypes are similar to real die castings, so once the
prototypes have been approved you can introduce them to the market and start
selling.
Low start-up costs
Tooling costs are low and can often be compared to tooling costs for more
traditional prototyping processes like sand casting and plaster mould casting.
Inexpensive pilot runs
A Quick Die tool can normally last for 2.000 pieces. Therefore Quick Die offers
an inexpensive solution for carrying out a small pilot production or it can even
be used for small batch productions of maybe 200 pieces a year.
Quick tool adjustment
It is quick and inexpensive to carry out tool adjustments. Adjustments in the
prototyping stage can therefore quickly be carried out and thereby reduce time
to market.
Reliable field tests
Unlike many other prototyping processes our Quick Die protoypes offer similar
properties of those achieved by normal high pressure die casting. For this
reason our Quick Die prototypes are prefect for carrying out reliable field
tests.
